Within the framework of the project – Film Workshop for Adults in Bolnisi – members of the Association of Cinematographers – Giorgi Shvelidze, Vasili Dolidze and Dimitri Dekanosidze met with young people on October 6 in Bolnisi.


The conversation was about getting to know the field of cinematography, as well as the problems and challenges in Georgian cinema.

The goal of the project is to offer Bolnisi teenagers an opportunity to engage in creative processes in the face of a clear shortage of cultural life and spaces; to develop creative and critical analytical skills with the help of film art; to get to know interesting professionals working in the field, explore their experience and enthusiastically participate in cultural life.
Along with all this, the participants will have the opportunity to deliver their own contribution to the cinematic life of Bolnisi, which exists today around the Bolnisi cinema!
lm Workshop for Adults in Bolnisi is implemented within the framework of the “Creative Connections” grant component of the “Creative Compass” project, which promotes the emergence of alternative opportunities, exchange of knowledge and deepening of cooperative ties in the creative sector of the regions of Georgia
