The Tbilisi Photography and Multimedia Museum School, in collaboration with the Museum of Contemporary Cinema (CFM), has launched a new educational program — “From Film Idea to the Set.” The project includes a creative workshop titled “Feature Film — A Response to the World,” which is being implemented with the involvement of the Georgian Cinematographers Association.
The program aims to introduce participants to the complete process of film production — from formulating an idea to realizing it on set. It was within the framework of this program that we, the members of the GCA, met with the students to share our experience regarding the challenges of the cinematographer’s profession and the specifics of working on set.
The meeting was very interesting, distinguished by high engagement and active feedback from the students.
